Capstone in Civic Leadership

Taking Theology into Practice in the Community

The goal of this program is to educate and equip individuals to intentionally address and respond to the realities of community challenges.

I chose a research topic that had the potential to benefit the City of Hendersonville, Tennessee. My capstone project demonstrated the practicality of the skills and knowledge that I have gained in the Nelson and Sue Andrews Institute for Civic Leadership. This program has enhanced my abilities to be a valuable asset to my department, City and the community.
